Cutting Ties

During our life we come across a lot of people. People that we get really close to and think that we want in our life forever, but there comes a time where we have to learn to let go of certain people. In the beginning they may be really great people! But we all grow differently, and we need people who motivate, and treat us with respect, rather than drag us down. People who sit still and don't grow with us are not the type of people we want to have in our life. Personally, I want people in my life who work just as hard as I do and are good influences on me- people who stay on their grind and have goals. Life isn't all about work though! So I love people who love an adventure, who love to go out and explore, spend time in the outdoors. It's not fun being around people who don't want to do anything that can be draining to someone like me!

Unfortunately in life, some of those people we come to love and create a friendship with tend to use us and screw us over. It's okay to give second chances but if they abuse that, cut them off! You may want them in your life, but remember, you don't need anybody. If you give others chance after chance, that's when they tend to take advantage of you, and you don't need anyone who disrespects you like that in your life. Respect yourself and understand that people who use you, pop in and out of your life like it's okay, or simply treat you like you don't matter to them should not be in your life. We all struggle with letting some people go, but if they're nothing but negative toward us, we have to. Only others who treat you right should be in your life, and if you continue to forgive people and let them back in, they don't change for the better, instead, they walk all over us. You're too good for that! Don't let that happen, and don't let people think that's okay, and most importantly, don't let them fool you into thinking their behavior is okay.
